Take the Plunge into the Data Lake!

Haley Hall

To some, a pond may seem like a lake. To others, a lake may be thought of as a large body of water.

The definition of a lake can vary from person to person, just as the definition of a data lake can vary from organization to organization.

Whereas some companies use data lakes as a form of “big data” storage, others leverage data lakes with advanced, predictive analytics.

Data lakes are essentially places where disparate information sources come together.

Organizations are challenged today with disconnected information silos that exist within their data lakes, which often lead to poor visibility and overall reduced performance.

Through leveraging a data cleansing tool with data lakes, organizations can increase their visibility, trust their data more, and use accurate predictive analytics to increase their performance.
